SAN ANTONIO, TX (KSNW) – KSN’s Chris Arnold is in San Antonio where he joins thousands of fans and tourists who are taking in all the exciting sights the city has to offer.
Today, he went down to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center where he found the biggest and most interactive fan fest you may ever see.
It’s like a sports wonderland for the fans of all the teams in San Antonio.
"My family and my kids have been playing all the games, shooting baskets, throwing footballs, doing all the activities here at fan fest," said Tom Lewis, KU fan from Springfield, Missouri.
Lifelong Kansas Jayhawks fan Tom Lewis came to the event with his two kids, 10-year-old Ty and 8-year-old Jett and the rest of his family.
"I liked the agility contest because," said Ty Lewis. "Because you got to dribble and stuff and I really like dribbling."
It also brought out some friendly competition for these die-hard KU fans.
"So my dad was in third, my brother was in second and I was in first," added Ty.
Something these two young fans say was definitely a lot of fun.
Jayhawk fans both young and old spent their time trying out all the different games.
"They have hockey, they have soccer, they have a baseball thing over here, so they have all kinds of things for people to do," explained Jake Blythe, KU fan from Kansas City.
Just biding their time until the real competition starts at the Final Four on Saturday.
